Parallel and totally geodesic hypersurfaces of non-reductive homogeneous four-manifolds

We classify totally geodesic and parallel hypersurfaces of four-dimensional non-reductive homogeneous pseudo-Riemannian manifolds.     

The differentiation operator in the space of uniformly convergent Dirichlet series

Continuity, compactness, the spectrum and ergodic properties of the differentiation operator are investigated, when it acts in the Fréchet space of all Dirichlet series that are uniformly convergent in all half-planes for each . The properties of the formal inverse of the differentiation are also investigated.     

Embedding of RCD⁎(K,N) spaces in L2 via eigenfunctions

In this paper we study the family of embeddings ${\mathrm{\Phi }}_t$ of a compact ${\mathrm{RCD}}^{?}(K,N)$ space $(X,\mathsf{d},\mathfrak{m})$ into $L^2(X,\mathfrak{m})$ via eigenmaps. Extending part of the classical results [10], [11] known for closed Riemannian manifolds, we prove convergence as $t\downarrow 0$ of the rescaled pull-back metrics ${\mathrm{\Phi }}_t^{?}{g}_{L^2}$ in $L^2(X,\mathfrak{m})$ induced by ${\mathrm{\Phi }}_t$. Moreover we discuss the behavior of ${\mathrm{\Phi }}_t^{?}{g}_{L^2}$ with respect to measured Gromov-Hausdorff convergence and t. Applications include the quantitative $L^p$-convergence in the noncollapsed setting for all $p<\infty$, a result new even for closed Riemannian manifolds and Alexandrov spaces.     

Generalization of tangential trace spaces of H(curl,Ω) for curvilinear Lipschitz polyhedral domains Ω

For curvilinear Lipschitz polyhedral domains Ω, explicit characterizations of the tangential trace spaces of H ¹(Ω) are presented. These extend the original characterizations given by Buffa and Ciarlet that hold on Lipschitz polyhedral domains with plane faces. The tangential trace spaces of H ¹(Ω) are fundamental for the definition, analysis and intuitive understanding of the trace spaces of H ( curl ,Ω) and therefore, more general characterizations of the latter are obtained at the same time. C0-estimates and smoothness of solutions to the parabolic equation defined by Kimura operators

Kimura diffusions serve as a stochastic model for the evolution of gene frequencies in population genetics. Their infinitesimal generator is an elliptic differential operator whose second-order coefficients matrix degenerates on the boundary of the domain. In this article, we consider the inhomogeneous initial-value problem defined by generators of Kimura diffusions, and we establish $C^0$-estimates, which allows us to prove that solutions to the inhomogeneous initial-value problem are smooth up to the boundary of the domain where the operator degenerates, even when the initial data is only assumed to be continuous.
